A little southern girl born and raised in Richmond, VA I have always had the ability to see in others what they didn’t see in themselves. Pursuing and achieving a Master’s in clinical counseling helped me to hone this gift. Not only could I naturally see other’s potential and God given talents; but my education and training taught me how to coach others into making these gifts and talents work for them. As a mental health professional in the field for over 4 years there is one thing I’ve observed more than anything. We as humans seem to struggle with being clear about who we are, what we represent and what we stand for.
My aspiration is to someday help people understand who they are, what they represent and what they stand for through fashion, coaching, and consulting. Much of my fashion inspiration comes from the women of the 50’s and 60’s. These women were the epitome of consciousness, intentionality and awareness. In many ways I found I connect to the women of these times and often times feel I was born in the wrong era. It’s time we bring back the days of old when we as women were conscious about what we wore, aware of our decorum and were intentional about both. All these things make up the perfect cocktail for sophistication.
It is my hope that you are able to find a bit of these women in yourselves through my post and that you become CONSCIOUS! AWARE! And INTENTIONAL!
